2018 – 2022

In high school, I created a comic idea following the story of a spoiled King ruling the Sun Shard Kingdom as he loses his memory and identity. The King and his personal guard Knight venture to the Queen of the Night’s lair to reclaim his memories. Along the way, he rediscovers himself and the villainized people of the Night. Upon meeting the Queen of the Night, he learns that the people of the Night feed on thoughts and memories and are forced underground by the King’s father to starve to death. In desperation, the Queen of the Night consumes his memories to prolong the life of her starving child, the Princess of the Night.

I created two separate comics telling segments of the storyline. One focuses on the King’s early life, and another focuses on a movement in Knight’s teen years.
